Meet Stylianos Tsoktouridis, TALEX General Manager

ALUMINIUM MIDDLE EAST 2017 is delighted to welcome Taweelah Aluminium Extrusion Company LLC (TALEX), as an exhibitor for the first time. TALEX is the Middle East’s most advanced extrusion plant and its vertically integrated production process links liquid primary metal to state-of-the-art precision engineering and on to export markets in the Gulf and around the world, via KIZAD’s Khalifa Port.

We speak to Stylianos Tsoktouridis, TALEX General Manager on the background of his career, how TALEX was founded and what challenges the company is facing in the coming year

Tell us a bit about your career and how you came to work in the industry?

I am a graduate of The University of Huddersfield in UK, where I received a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and Design and of The Technical Chamber of Greece where I received an MSc in Mechanical Engineering. I also am Chartered Mechanical Engineer, member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, in UK, a Professional Mechanical Engineer, member of the Technical Chamber of Greece, certified as Project Management Professional (PMP)® in the Project Management Institute and certified as Lean Six Sigma Green Belt in the International Association of Six Sigma Certification.
